ASME SA 240 Type 304L Patti does not require post-weld annealing and finds extensive use in heavy-gauge components where freedom from carbide precipitation is often required. It is common for 304L SS Patta to be dual certified as 304 and 304L when the material meets both the lower carbon limit of Type 304L and the slightly higher strengths of Type 304. The corrosive resistance to acids is generally very good in Stainless Steel UNS S30403 Patti with the exception of halogen acids. Stainless Steel DIN 1.4307 Patti has good welding characteristics and post weld annealing is not normally required to restore performance. Ideal for a wide variety of home and commercial applications, SS DIN 1.4307 Patta exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and has a high ease of fabrication, outstanding formability.
304L SS Patta Patti often eliminates the necessity of annealing weldments except for applications specifying stress relief.
