Stainless steel strips are priced slightly higher than standard sizes stainless steel coils, as there are slitting and some overhead expenses added. Also, based on the slitting size, we also get an estimate of the scrap generation, and accordingly the price may be added to the base price of stainless steel coils, and Copper Coils as above. To give you an indicative idea, strips are prices Rs. 7-10/kg higher, than stainless steel coils.
